After weeks of working, finally has some time to finish this. Here’s what prompt me to write this blog:) Look at the map above. From one circle to another. I started at the jetty, and there I am. I walked almost across the whole Macau ! This really amazed me. This reminded me, I’m trully a scout:)

It’s picture time again. Some pics at the central attraction of Macau. Non casino, I mean.

Out of expectation, I bump into this shop. It’s one of the many food shops that I got recommended by somoene who loves to eat. There’re lots of free sampling in the shop. Nice sampling and because of that, I bought lots of souvenir to bring back home from here.

Continue my walk and after a bend, I reached my destination. A destination that I can declare I visited Macau.

The back of the church…

I’m sure most of us don’t know about this. Besides, these ruins,  the back of the church actually keeps some bones… Yeah, bones. So this place is not just all about the front gate of the church.

Again, I’m sure most of us don’t notice. There’s a hill beside the church ruins. And it’s really Malacca feel.

Nightfall. Night shots. And that’s it. Visited Lamma Island today. Maybe there’s a post on it if my feel is good.

After an intense week of working, it’s Friday midnight now. I closed some issues, and sleep well, looking forward for Saturday.  Ok, cut the damn working stuff. Off to holiday story now.

Interesting thing only happened when I reach Macau. But well, it’s better to document down the whole process, so some boring story first.

Time: 1030 – 1130

Nothing special. Had my breakfast and off I traveled to board a ferry to Macau.

Time: 1130

Reached the ferry terminal. It’s kinda ‘chinese’ terminal. Found the ticketing counter and here it is. Kinda lousy.

Took the 1215 ferry.  My advice, don’t board the ferry before it starts to depart.  If it’s not moving, you will have super diziness in the ferry, just like mini earthquake. Journey took exactly 1 hour and finally I reached Macau!

Time: 1315

After prevailing a mini sea sick, I finally reached Macau. I jump out of the ferry terminal and one thing struck my mind. “Shit, where should I go? There’s some casino buses but I’m not coming to Macau just for casino. I saw some taxis, public buses but I don’t even know any of my destination name. I didn’t even know whats the name of the Macau gate they always show in picture.”

I’m a bit lost now since I can’t take public transport. This is how I travel. Just jump into a place without even doing any research.  So, I decided to walk along a freaky pathway. I’m sure it’s build for a purpose.

After 15 mins of walking, I reach a place call Fisherman Wharf.  I thought it’s like those Pangkor fisherman village base on its name. But no! After turning a slight corner, I saw this. Cool.

Oh ya, while exploring the area, manage to get a free Macau map in one of the tourist shop after this bend. This map is significantly important later.

I found out that I’m in Babylon Casino now which is beside the Fisherman Wharf. After exploring the whole Babylon area, I went into the casino. The casino is kinda poor business. Most tables are empty, unlike Genting.

Time: 1430

After browsing this area,it’s time for next. Don’t know where to go, so the most obvious choice is to go to the giant building on the opposite. Found out it’s call Sands Casino. So visited 2 casinos within a short period of time.

Time:  ~1445

Took out the map,  found my north south east west, and off I go, walking to my instinctive navigation.

I crossed some dusty streets.

I’m super hungry now. Looking for shops to eat but I found none! Only 2 giant buildings and yeah, casinos again. I’m not going to eat inside the casinos.  Within ahem, 15 minutes, I visited another 2 casinos. MGM, Wynm.

Time: 1515

Walked to the direction I feel right again.. After another turn of corners, I saw an amazing sight. Okay, if you see this before, don’t you laugh at me. I didn’t do any research. I’m really amazed by the design.

I walked towards the building. Grand Lisboa. And found out another building beside. Lisboa Casino. All right, I know where am I now. At the heart of Macau.  The old casino they always show in oldern TVB. Well, at least I can declare I have visited Macau now. Thought of going into Lisboa but super hungry now. I still unable to find my food.

Walked pass Lisboa, and decide to enter Grand Lisboa due to it’s attractiveness. But main point here is, I want to find food. Maybe some McD like what I saw in Sands. Found nothing. Stormed out of Grand Lisboa and walked again.

Saw a pretty gal distributing casino flyers. Though of taking a picture but didnt:)

Time: 1600

I found a decent cafe finally. Ate my super late lunch here. Portugese Curry Rice. Hmmm. Delicious.

Took some time off to browse the map. By the way here is the map(click on pic to enlarge).

After observing the map, there’s only 1 reaction, …. oh my god. I’m amazed. This is one of the reasons I decide to blog this out.  My path finding skills is ahem…..To be continued in some days time…. Time to lunch and work(zzzZZZzzzZZZ).
